Newsflash: pesto can be made with almost anything green!!
What’s that… everyone else already knew??
Ah well. Imagine my unbridled cave-living joy on finding out…
This year’s divine ‘anythings’ have included:
dandelion pesto
basil pesto
tarragon pesto
garlic scape pesto
borage leaf pesto
and most recently, wild arugula pesto from the hugely wonderful plant that has found its way into my garden somehow for the second year in a row and which is very welcome to stay as long as it likes.
